Tuesday, June 4th /  7:00 am depart SW YMCA / 7:30 am depart Mukwonago Park & Ride

 10:00 Dickeyville Grotto.  The works of Father Matthias Wernerus, a German-American priest who

served the Holy Ghost Parish .

 11:15 Potosi Brewery.  Founded in 1852 along the Mississippi River.  We tour, taste and view breweriana collectibles.  Our buffet includes classic burgers, BBQ pulled pork & Potosi Pilsner Bratwurst. 

 3:30 Villa Louis in Prairie du Chein.  Built in 1871 and boasting all the modern conveniences.  This home stands as a showcase of Victorian architecture and  design. 

 5:30 dinner at the St. Francis Hermitage in Gay Mills.  Handcrafted, cooked, and baked by the Nuns from Fraternite Notre Dame with love and prayer in the French tradition.  Our delicious buffet will include chicken and fish, vegetables, warm bread, dessert and more.   

 8:30 pm Country Inn by Raddison, La Crosse  ~ our home base for the next three days.

 Wednesday, June 5th / 7:00 am depart /7:15 enjoy breakfast at the Blue Moon Restaurant in Onalaska.  Choose from Denver Omelet OR  Deluxe Breakfast Skillet OR Moons over Myhami (eggs benedict) OR French Toast & Sausage.

 9:00 tour the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Breath-taking views of the Driftless Region, coupled with beautiful, inspirational craftmanship in construction. 

 11:15 tour the Dahl Auto Museum.  History of the automobile through the eyes of the Ford Motor Company. 

 12:45 tour the Hixon House.  Built in 1858 and lovingly preserved with its’ original Victorian Arts & Crafts furnishings. 

4:00 dinner at Buzzard Billy’s.  Choose from … seafood jambalaya OR  fried walleye dinner OR steakhouse mushroom burger OR garlic parmesan chicken sandwich

 6:30 return to hotel for a much needed evening of relaxation! 

 Thursday, June 6th / 6:50 am depart / 7:00 breakfast at the La Crosse Family Restaurant.  Choose from … ham & cheese omlette OR French toast & sausage OR skillet with sausage, bacon, onions & green pepper

 9:00 weather dependent we enjoy time with “Flitemeister” Mike Lesmeister of  the Lesmeister Balloon Company!  

 11:00 tour and tasting at the beautiful Villa Bellezza

 1:00 a little time to shop at the Lake Pepin Pearl Button Company / 2:30 depart

 3:30 arrive at the La Crosse Queen to enjoy their evening dinner cruise on the mighty Mississippi.  Our dinner buffet to include pork tenderloin and herbed chicken. 

 6:30 return to the Country Inn

 Friday, June 7th / 7:30 am load bus / 8:00 breakfast at the Country Inn before we depart at 9:00 am.

 9:45 meet Kathy Kuderer former owner of Down a Country Road.  Kathy will be our step-on tour guide as we make our way through Amish Country - Cashton, Wisconsin. 

 1:30 arrive at Justin Trails in Sparta, Wisconsin for a some beautiful scenery and a delicious mid-day snack of pie! 

 4:00 dinner at the Dorf Haus ~ meaning small house and listed in the Wisconsin Supper Club Book.  Originally opened in 1959 by Vern and Betty Maier and currently operated by daughter Rebecca.  Choose from baked  haddock, half-rack ribs or traditional roulade / dessert choose German chocolate cake OR a grasshopper!

 6:00 depart and head for home tired, but satisfied! 

 7:30 return to Mukwonago / 8:00 return to SW YMCA

Our day begins at the The Grand Oshkosh - the oldest operating theatre in Wisconsin.  An in-depth look at 140 years of architecture, history and evolution of entertainment.  Then cruise the upper Wolf River aboard the Fin ‘N Feather.  Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet and watch the shoreline go by.  Finally, since we are in the area, there is no way we cannot return to Pure Class Vodka and visit with Peggy Hendricks.  Family built, owned and operated.         

 Our all you can eat buffet includes beverage and dessert.

A day that is always enjoyable, and a place that is perfect to spend a hot July afternoon.  Relax on the upper deck and watch the world float by or join the festivities on the dancefloor with classic oldies music.

Aboard the Celebration Belle we will be greeted with sticky bun and fruit before enjoying a two entrée hot lunch buffet.

Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy is a story to be shared with the generations.  Follow fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a band that he vows to organize, despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.  His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian.  Funny, warm, romantic and touching.

 2:30 pm pie at Crane’s Pie Pantry Restaurant & Winery  - Fennville, Michigan.  Family run since 1972.  Your pie   choices are ... apple, blueberry, cherry or rhubarb raspberry. 

 4:00 Tulip Immersion Gardens.  Enjoy 65,000 flowers,   learn about the history of the tulip and how it came to West Michigan.  Also discover the fine, hand-painted, blue and white artwork known as Delft. 

 5:00 dinner at Bowerman’s Blueberry Farm Market.  In the family since 1954 and encompassing  more than 90 acres.  Buffet to include Blueberry Pulled Pork sandwich or Chicken Salad Croissant. 

 7:00 Arrive at the Country Inn - Holland, Michigan.  They will be our host for the next three nights.

 8:45 depart / 9:00  our step-on tour guide will share information about Holland’s culture,  founding, history and continued growth. 

 11:30 lunch & style show.  Enjoy a traditional Dutch meal while the famous Dutch Dancers perform their klompen dance in Dutch costumes and wooden shoes. 

 1:30 to 3:30 shopping 

 4:00 dinner at Boatwerks.  Buffet to include soup, salad, braised beef, roasted marble potatoes, vegetables, sauerkraut mashed potatoes and dessert.

 7:00 Performance of “On Golden Pond”.  The story of Ethel and Norman Thayer and the 48th return to their beloved summer home. 

 9:30  return to Country Inn

 Wednesday, May 8th / 7:30 depart for breakfast at Bowerman’s Blueberry Farm Market. To include a variety of quiche, fruit salads and sweet treats. 

 9:00 tour Holland Bowl Mill                           

 11:30 lunch cruise from Lake Macatawa to Lake Michigan aboard the Holland Princess ~ an old-fashioned Victorian-style paddlewheel boat.  Buffet lunch includes Croissant sandwiches, fresh fruit, apple walnut  salad, and cheesecake. 

 2:00  enjoy the Windmill Gardens.  36 acres, 150,000 tulips, exhibits and the last working windmill allowed to leave the Netherlands in 1964. 

4:00 enjoy a delicious chicken dinner.   / 5:30 arrive at Hope College to enjoy the American Legion Concert. 7:30 return to Country Inn.

 Thursday, May 9th - 7:00 am load bags / 7:30 depart

 8:00 breakfast at the Wooden Shoe Restaurant.  CHOOSE from scrambled eggs with American fries OR Belgian waffle OR ham & cheese Omelet. 

 9:00 a little shopping at the Wooden Shoe Antique Mall

 10:30 time spent at DeKlomp Wooden Shoe Factory

 1:00 say good-bye to Holland, Michigan

 1:30 Dune Buggy Ride at Saugatuck Dune Rides.  Experience the Lake Michigan shoreline from a new vantage point!

 3:15 dinner and wine at Vineyard 2121.  Thank you Kathy and Jerry for the suggestion!  CHOOSE from … ham & cheese panini, OR pulled pork sandwich OR Italian beef sandwich.

 5:00 head back to Wisconsin and regain the hour we lost!

This stunning musical revue, created by costume collector Greg Schreiner, features dazzling outfits worn by the stars in the original Hollywood films.  Schreiner shares his collection in a show filled with music, memories, stories, and fun, bringing the audience back to the  golden age of Hollywood.  Wardrobes to include Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Julie Andrews, Robert Taylor, Bette Davis, Ann-Margaret, Susan Hayward, Bob Hope and Judy Garland, just to name a few.
