This was my second experience enjoying the Glenn Miller Orchestra - long considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time - and they definitely have my vote. The Palace Theater was the perfect venue to experience this group. Lunch was enjoyed prior to the performance and you don’t even have to leave your seat to have a drink and enjoy the music! The female vocals were “spot on” and the band director leads the way with interesting bits of history associated with each piece. We also found it interesting how far each band member traveled from their home state …. California, Florida, New Orleans, Montana just to name a few. Only one hometown boy from Madison, Wisconsin in the group.
